The company has already developed an integrated livestock farming and beef supply process for the trading of livestock in Australia with feedlots, slaughtering processing, packing and sales in the process. With Australia being one of the largest and most successful producers of commercial livestock and a leader in the export of red meat, Grant Agri is there to take a central role in delivering the overall goal for beef industry in Australia and thus, the South East Asia. Forming part of the group, the company currently own;
Australian Livestock Export Licence, being one of only a handful of exporters with the commensurate expertise and strict ESCAS systems in place to allow for ongoing external performance audits by the Australian Government.
Team of buyers and suppliers across Australia for sustainable and continued supply of high quality live cattle.
A comprehensive logistics network consisting of local Australian livestock transport, shipping and air freight and Malaysian livestock trucking assets.
A network of feedlots and farm facilities in Australia to handle large volumes of live cattle.
Grant Agri has aggregated a number of Satellite Farmers, across Australia, utilising the existing feedlot infrastructure to hold and fatten imported cattle and supporting local small-holder farmers in Australia.
These feedlots have been audited for ESCAS and will operate under the supervision of Grant Agri to ensure quality production and animal welfare practice.
Under the contracts, Grant Agri provides on-going training and support to ensure the feedlots are operated efficiently and under a “best practice approach” to comply with ESCAS regulations
Feeder & Slaughter Cattle
Grant Agri (Australia) is a licensed Livestock Exporter (licence L706) and further holds an Import Licence (HH/14/141) in Grant Agri (Malaysia) providing an experienced and professional approach to the export and import of live cattle.
It has a close association with many of Australia’s top breeders and sources large numbers of feeder & slaughter cattle. Cattle are selected and sourced
-to required specifications;
-by an experienced team of buyers;
-under strict quarantine with health checks and under a traceability program, and;
-to meet ESCAS regulations.
